Vastu Tips For Vidisha Plot

Skewed / Diagonal / Tilted / Vidisha Plot Vastu

At present large number of lands are diagonal or Vidisha plots. If your plot is skewed or tilted, then surely you are looking for answers to these questions. How to apply vastu shastra rules for Vidisha plots for new house /office / Factory construction, or How to rectify any diagonal plots? Then be sure to read this article carefully. In this article, eminent Vastu consultant and civil engineer Apurba Das shares valuable vastu tips for vidisha / diagonal/skewed plots.

What is Vidisha Plot?

Not every piece of land will be parallel to the North-south or East-West line. If you stand in the middle of the land and take a reading of the compass, you will see that the needle of the compass is not straight but tilted to the right or left. If the compass needle is not parallel to the cardinal directions is called Vidisha plot or diagonal plot, according to Vastu Shastra. In other words, any land that bends 1 degree or more with the north-south or east-west line is called tilted / vidisha land. So, theoretically, all lands are angular plots as every land will be tilted even if it is one degree. So will every property be considered a vidisha?

My answer is no. Just because each piece of land has one degree of tilt does not mean it is skewed. In my experience, one to three degrees of tolerance in the application of Vastu Shastra rules is not a big mistake. For every property, such as a house, flat, office, factory, whatever it is must be angularly divided to make its grids or intermediate directions.

If you look at the image above, you will understand that there are roads to the north and east of the land. The North-South line is tilted 22 degrees ( 90- 22 = 68 ) to the east. That is, the ground is rotated at 22 degrees with respect to a cardinal direction.

How to apply Vastu rules for Diagonal / Skewed Plot

Let us now discuss in detail how to apply the rules of ancient Vastu Shastra on a diagonal or skewed plot. I will try to explain the matter in a simple way through examples. Let's take a rectangular diagonal plot as an example.. Below is a picture of a rectangular diagonal plot whose north-south line passes along the diagonal. If you take an angular reading with a compass on the given plot, the compass needle will indicate the North-East corner of that plot. To draw the Vastu Purusha Mandala on that rectangular plot, we need a scaled map. To prepare a scaled map, angular measurements, as well as length and breadth, are required. We use AutoCAD software to create scaled maps, you can also use graph paper. After creating the scaled map, you have to draw the line of cardinal direction at the correct degree. Make sure that the lines of the cardinal direction pass through the brahmasthan ( Centre ) of the plot. A total of 360 degrees around the brahmasthan center. We have to divide the total 360 degrees into 32 equal divisions. Each division equal to 11.25 degrees (360 / 32 = 11.25).The 32 angular segments are the 32 energy fields of paisacha vithi or 32 doors of Vastu shastra.

In the same way, 16 vastu zones or directions have to be calculated. In this case, 360 degrees have to be divided equally into 16 angular divisions. The angular measure of each division is 22.5 degrees.

In this way, you can determine the correct vastu zones and 45 energy fields on the diagonal plot.

Applied Vastu Helps to Design House, Apartments, Office, Factory on Vidisha, Skewed Plot

Do you want to design a house on your Vidisha land according to vastu shastra or are you going to build an office or factory on that plot? If you are concerned about any construction on tilted or angular land according to the Vastu, please contact Applied Vastu. Applied Vastu Consultancy provides Vastu planning & design, Vastu checking services for any type of land. Applied Vastu provides any Vastu-related services in both online, and onsite modes. Dimension of the land and degree of orientation these two pieces of information are essential for Vastu planning & Design on any skewed land. Dimension is given in the site plan of any land. But the degree must be determined correctly. Each land must be tilted a little to the right or left with respect to a cardinal direction. Thus, it can be said that every land is theoretically Vidisha.

How do you know how many degrees a land is rotating in which direction?

You must say with the help of a magnetic compass. But nowadays, the correct and easy way to determine the correct orientation of a land is Google Compass or Google Map. Today, there is no need to visit any sites to determine the correct direction. If the site can be identified on Google Maps, its orientation can be easily determined with Google Earth and AutoCAD software. Applied Vastu determines the direction of any land, house, flat or property in this way. So no matter where you are in the world, you can easy avail all vastu services of Applied Vastu. Let's see how a land orientation is determined from Google Maps.

In the picture below, the exact geographical direction of a tilted land has been determined with the help of Google Maps and AutoCAD software. The ground rotates 11 degrees clockwise, meaning the cardinal direction is 11 degrees toward west. There are roads on both the north and south sides of the land. The surrounding land and its roads, location is all so visible in Google Map's satellite view.

Vastu Guide / Vastu Tips For Vidisha Plots

• Determining the correct direction of this tilted property is very important. After determining the direction correctly, one has to analyze the Vastu on the scaled map.

• In the case of skewed premises, Vastu analysis should always be done with graph paper or drafting software such as Auto Cad.

• In the case of a home, office, and factory design, the architectural activity space needs to be determined after proper zone analysis.

• Care should be taken while planning so that space is not wasted.

• This type of premises requires special skills in geometry for Vastu planning or checking. I am a civil engineer so the subject matter is very easy for me but it may not be easy for a general Vastu consultant. Therefore, it is necessary to take the advice of skilled professionals while doing vastu for angular land.
